Description
The PROXXON LWB/E 28492 is a precision long neck angle milling and drilling unit designed for intricate and detailed work. Its compact body and angled head make it ideal for hard-to-reach areas where standard rotary tools cannot easily operate. Suitable for hobby projects, model making, precision drilling, milling, engraving and fine detail applications.
The extended 100mm spindle neck positions the cutting head at 90 degrees to the main body axis, allowing the operator to approach the work from the side or at an angle without obstruction. The gearhead is housed in a stable die-cast aluminium casing with gears running on multiple ball bearings, ensuring smooth, low-vibration operation across its full speed.
The PROXXON LWB/E is lightweight and easy to control. Additionally, the long neck design improves access in tight spaces.
Practical Design for Precision Work
The main body housing is constructed from glass-fibre reinforced polyamide. This provides lightweight handling and improved rigidity.
Versatile Collet System
Six MICROMOT hardened steel collets are included as standard, covering shank diameters of 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.4, 3.0, and 3.2mm. This allows compatibility with a wide selection of PROXXON and third-party bits, cutters, drills, and grinding accessories. Easy and comfortable handling. The PROXXON LWB/E is lightweight and easy to control. Additionally, the long neck design improves access in tight spaces.
